For me a single line or short concept will hit me from something the pastor says in church. or A single verse will stand out in the bible as I'm reading. But what sorts of things inspire you to write a song? _________________ If you think things can't get worse it's probably only because you lack sufficient imagination. I write being inspired by wanting to get a deep truth into the mouths of the worshipper, or to get them closer to Who the Lord is. As you do, something will "click" inside from a line the pastor says or a new revelation out of the Word.
