Nice... checked out the free ones. THey sound great from what I heard.

But don't you think MIDI is on it's way out when we have programs like REASON and Fruity Loops and Acid? I mean, does anyone actually use MIDI anymore?

Are you kidding me? MIDI is NOT dead. Far from it.

I can't believe I'm hearing this.

There are millions of people out there who are actually preferring MIDI to looped based drums and other instruments.

I'd love to show you a comparison between the two sometime. MIDI is far more flexible, editable, manageable, and easier to use.

MIDI is running strong. A superior format has not been created yet! :D
